How it works

1

Type your text

A name, a bio line, a caption — anything. Every style below updates live as you type.

2

Tap a style to copy

Bold for headings, script for a classy bio, bubble letters for fun, upside down for jokes — 16 styles to choose from.

3

Paste it anywhere

Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Discord, game nicknames — if it accepts text, your fancy text works there.

What's actually happening?

These aren't fonts in the traditional sense. Your phone and computer already contain thousands of special characters (called Unicode) — including whole alphabets that look bold, handwritten, gothic or circled. FancyFont simply swaps each of your letters for its matching special character. The result is still ordinary text, which is why you can copy and paste it into apps that don't allow custom fonts at all.

✨ 16 styles, instantly

Bold, italic, script, bold script, fraktur (gothic), double-struck, monospace, bubble, squared, small caps, upside down, strikethrough, underline and more.

🔒 Private by design

The conversion happens in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, saved or tracked — close the tab and it's gone.

📱 Works on any device

Phone, tablet or computer — no app to install, no account to create. Just type, tap, paste.

Frequently asked questions

How does a fancy text generator work?

It replaces each normal letter with a matching Unicode character that looks like a styled version of it. Because the result is real text (not an image), you can paste it anywhere that accepts text.

Is FancyFont free? Do I need an account?

Yes — completely free, no sign-up, no limits. Everything runs in your browser and your text is never uploaded or stored.

Why does a style show as boxes or question marks?

Some very old devices and a few apps don't include every Unicode character. If one style doesn't display, try another — bold, circled and small caps work almost everywhere.

Can I use these fonts in my Instagram name and bio?

Yes — paste them into your bio, captions, comments or display name. One caution: fancy characters in your name can make you harder to find in search, so many people keep the name plain and style only the bio. See our Instagram fonts guide.

Do fancy fonts work in games?

Usually yes — games treat them as normal Unicode text in nicknames. A few games block certain characters; if a name is rejected, try a simpler style like bold or small caps.
